When DTTG 4 first released, there were activation issues so I just paid for a month so I can use it while they figured it all out. Now we’re here a month later and it’s time for me to actually register using my license.
I’m showing that I have DEVONthink Pro with updates til 4/2/25. It also shows I have one seat free. If I tap Register, it asks for the name of my phone, spins for a second, then remains unlicensed. Should I be able to register this, or do I need to pay for another year of updates? If it’s the latter, what happens to DTTG 4 when that year runs out?
I’m having the same problem. I’ve logged into DTTG4 and have a DTTG Pro license with updates through July 2026, but the iPad app doesn’t even acknowledge that I have a license. Right now, I’m using the free trial through the App Store. How do we navigate around this?
If it shows you have an active subscription, you have to let the period elapse before you can change your licensing. In fact, you should cancel the subscription now and you’ll get a notice of expiration at the proper time. If you have an active DEVONthink Pro license at that time, you will have the option to register the device.
