Show groups and tags always on top?

Hi all,

Does anyone know if you can make “show groups and tags” (the black pane that you can show on top of the database) visible always on top in other programs. So, for example, I’m writing a document in Scrivener and I’d like to be able to always see which groups or tags have data for that document.

If you have ‘Interface: Hide “Groups & Tags” panel when inactive’ unchecked in the General preferences, then Groups & Tags will be available in other applications.

One, perhaps deal-breaking, exception to this is if you are running your apps fullscreen under Lion/Mountain Lion, it will not work.
