small office file management

I’m trying to achieve the following but I’m not sure if it is possible.

I’m working with 4 colleagues and I would like to share specific files with specific colleagues. They are not allowed to see the documents from each other. The files are stored on my laptop.

I could setup the bonjour but I can only run one instance.

Does anyone has some tricks to make it happen ?

You can use the Sharing extension to send a file to an individual (via Messages, Mail, AirDrop, etc.), just as you can in many macOS applications.

Note: Sync is not a “sharing” technology. It is for keeping multiple devices in the same state. Technically, you could have a database per colleague, and also a Sync location per colleague, but they would need to be running DEVONthink or DEVONthink To Go 2, and import their own database from their own location. That would be overkill for “sharing a document” but technically possible.
