The title says it all. In the edit menu the various ways to add info to DT is in the edit menu, except for add selection to DT, which is only available within the contextual menu. This gets annoying for those of us who try to do as much as we can without the mouse.
You could also use the Take Plain/Rich Note services and their shortcuts.
