I read my RSS feeds in a smart group called “Unread” and delete what I have read with the backspace key. Since 3.9.5 this not longer works. RSS feed documents are no longer deleted but only displayed with a strikethrough.
I can also see the number of documents in the recycle bin and can empty it. However, the information remains visible in the Smart Group, even though it is neither unread nor available (because it has been deleted and the recycle bin emptied).
If you must have it updated, at least to me, a workaround is to edit the smart group, change any condition for other, save, then go back to the original and at least, it is updated… until next change.
Thx. @rfog I’ve seen that too, but unfortunately it’s only an “around”. This has nothing at all to do with “work”. Tbh. it messes up my entire workflow, as I work with dynamic groups in all areas. I don’t want to say that DT is useless now, but it makes work a lot more difficult. Do you know anything about the release date of a working version?
Smart Rules still work, so you can just replicate the functionality of the Unread Smart Group with a Smart Rule that doesn’t perform any actions:
Then when you click on the Unread Smart Rule in the sidebar you’ll just see the contents of the Smart Group. (Smart Rules effectively create a Smart Group and then perform rule-based actions on them.)
