I am having some trouble with my smart rules and I cannot find a solution in this message board (maybe wrong search paramters) so maybe someone can help me or point me in the correct direction.
I want some of my smart rules to start right after the file has been received by DEVONthink. On my MacBook I have no issue as I am using the trigger “after import”. However I do have some issues when I import documents into DEVONthinkToGo first and then sync with DEVONthink. The smart rules do not trigger and I have to start them manually. I did not see an option “after syncing”.
And while we are on the topic: When I add a file via my Fuji ScanSnap printer the rule “on import” does not run as well.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get my rules start as soon as the files are received in the DEVONthink database?
