# Smart Rule to add date to filename doesn't always work

As the PDF is influenced by the print settings in the print dialog, that seems perfectly possible. Perhaps both you and @amalis could mention which settings you were using (page size, scaling). In my experience simple things like the fullness of the moon may influence how a PDF ends up being created - I’m pretty sure different OS versions may produce differing results.
