Snapscan S1500 or S1500M

Hi

I am currently using my canon all-in-one to scan directly into DTPO and OCR.

I am looking to move to a snapscan S1500. The Mac version is quite a bit more expensive in the UK, and I was wondering do I really need to purcahse the M version in order to use it with DTPO as this already has OCR built in?

I picked up the S1500M bundle. It comes with CardIris for scanning business cards, which I find useful. It also comes with Adobe Acrobat 8, if you’re interested in that.

I believe you can download the drivers so that you wouldn’t necessarily need to buy the Mac bundle.
