Sorter disappears after update to 2.1

Same here, no sorter!

German OS 10.6.8 on iMac 2.1 Devonthink Office 2.4.2

Since that bug is getting long in the tooth, are these signs, that Devontech is not ‘finding’ (that is, able to replicate) the bug or its causes?

I cannot replicate the behavior.
OS X 10.7.4
DTPO 2.4.2

Try this…

  1. Tools > Quit Sorter.
  2. Quit DEVONthink.
  3. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink Sorter.
  4. Move Default.Sorter to your Desktop and relaunch DEVONthink.
  5. Toos > Show Sorter.

Fixed or no? If not you can just place your old Sorter back where it was.

thank you for your help. Unfortunately, it still doesn’t work. Sorter is there, but when I want to open a note (short cut, or in the sorter), the window disappears.

I have reproduced it several times:
1.open note via sorter
2. enlarge the width of the note to the right
==> the sorter disappears and from then on, it is not possible anymore to open a note. You can restart the sorter, but once you open a note - sorter disappears

How can I fix the bug?
