Sorter displays an @Special Inbox

Dragging an email to the DT4 sorter in my toolbar and holding that item over the Global inbox reveals a “@Special” heading. The @ is actually a circular anticlockwise arrow, but I don’t have a keyboard symbol for that. Drop the item on that @Special heading and the Global Inbox count increases, but the item is not visible. The way I can find the item is via the search box, where appears in a location called “special” I found this by accident, but cannot find any explanation for it in the manual, of course I maybe blind.

I have a mystery count of two items in the Global Inbox that I cannot get rid of ( I have shut databases and closed the programme, but the count remains). There are no items visible, and as I do not know what they might be I cannot find them via the search box, perhaps these occurred as a result of the @Special heading. Any ideas please?

Screen captures would be helpful.

Hope that helps

Yes and you shouldn’t be seeing it. What version of DEVONthink 4 and macOS are you running?

Mac 15.6.1

DT 4.0.2

In DEVONthink, hold the Option key and select Help > Report Bug.

Done

How do I locate the items please?

Make sure DEVONthink has permission to automate Mail in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Automation. When do what I instructed, it should generate an email to use with the required information and logs.

Done twice

I responded to your first.

This will be addressed in the next maintenance release.

How do I locate the items that are apparently in the GI please?

I have found one by guessing the contents from memory, but there are two to which I have no clues. They do not appear on any date related searches, which was my first thought.

Thanks
