My sorter drawer appears when I log in to my account but it will not open. If I click on the tab it moves and “Close Circle” appears and disappears with clicking but the drawer itself will not appear.
Not sure why you are getting this after upgrading, however try the following:
Quit the Sorter either using the Sorter menu of in DT preference.
In Finder select the menu option Go->Go to folder and copy and paste the following ~/Library/Preferences and press Go.
If you are running DT Pro delete the file com.devon-technologies.think-sorter.plist. If you are running DT Personal delete the file com.devon-technologies.thinkPersonal-sorter.plist.
In DT preferences restart the sorter.
This should reset the positioning information of the Sorter.
