Guten Abend,

gibt es eine Möglichkeit die von Haus aus fest eingestellten Standard Apps (z.B. Apple Mail) auf eine andere App zu wechseln, z.B. Outlook? Falls nicht, ist das ggf. geplant zukünftig zu implementieren?

DEVONthink greift hier auf die im System eingestellten Standardprogramme zurück. Wenn Sie das Standard-E-Mail-Programm umstellen möchten, können Sie dies in den Einstellungen von Apple Mail tun. Warum Apple es dorthin gepackt hat und nicht in die Systemeinstellungen, weiß man leider wohl nur in Cuppertino :unamused:

aber in meinem Fall ist dort schon Outlook als Standard eingestellt. DTPO “denkt” aber immer noch in Richtung Apple Mail :confused: …

PS: Hingegen bei der Bearbeitung von pdf`s nimmt DTPO meine Einstellungen “ernst” und öffnet die von mir eingestellte Standard App… :slight_smile:

The default email application affects Data > Send by Email.

If you are trying to open email files from DEVONthink, that is unrelated to the system default email application.

  1. Drag and drop an email from DEVONthink to the Desktop.
  2. Select it and press Command-I to bring up the Info pane.
  3. Change the Open With application and press Change All to set the system default application for .eml files.
