Strange problem with one database (syncing)

So I bought a new iPad over the weekend and have been trying to install/sync my databases with DTG4, but I keep running into problems with one specific db.

For context - the setup is DT4 on a Mac mini M4 and MacBook Air M5, 9 databases, all indexed and pulling from the same parent folder structure on iCloud - so for all intents and purposes everything for the 9 are identical.

In the first attempt to add to the iPad 8 databases synced fine, but one kept showing up as ‘Merge’, and I couldn’t find anything that addressed this. But, when I hit ‘Sync’, the first 8 dbs synced fine, then when it hit this 9th db after about 3 seconds DTG4 crashed (back to Home Screen).

After multiple failed attempts I decided to start over - deleted dbs from all but the primary machine, deleted iCloud backups/shares, restarted, etc. And then one by one I started resyncing dbs across machines. And everything worked until I hit this same db/folder - it got about 75% through syncing and then crashed DTG4. And now, when opening DTG4 it immediately tries to sync that db and crashes right away. And this happens so quickly that there’s no time to even turn off the sync.

I’m obviously going to to have to delete DG4 on the iPad and start over, but I’m stumped on what might be causing the issue with this particular db as it’s identical in setup/contents to the other 8 (sidewise it’s about in the middle of the others as well).

Note this is only an issue with DTG4 - sync between the desktop and laptop are fine, and it’s just this one db.

Any help is appreciated.

You should be reporting this to our support ticket system by choosing Action (…) > Settings > About > Contact us in DEVONthink To Go.

Also, if you could check Settings > Privacy > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data for any DEVONthink To Go crash logs. They would be helpful. Please also send them as support ticket, don’t post them here.

Thank you (and @eboehnisch),

I have submitted a ticket via the email address - as I said DTG4 crashes immediately so there’s no way to submit via it (the app), or to capture crash logs (it’s open long enough to tap the ellipses and then Settings buttons, but crashes before Settings can open).
