Ich habe nun die Version gekauft, die Lizenz eingegeben und soweit passt alles - nur kann ich die Suchfunktion nicht mehr nutzen, die ist irgendwie ausgegraut… ???

Why have you remove the search field from the top toolbar? That’s where database searching is done.
Ah, thanks - I did not remove anything - i entered the code and the search field went off (and I tried the arrow-marked one…) - so probably I can restore the search field to the top toolbar… i will check…
edit: got it back - sorry for asking (but actually I did not see the search field in the adaptation menu of the top tool bar…as I looked at it before… blind in the forest)
