Suggestions for DEVONthink 3.0 (or before)

First, as a newbie, Hi and great thanks to all who are responsible for developing the amazing and powerful DEVONthink. I don’t know what I would do without it. Now, on to the subject…

The improvements and additions I would like to see in the next major release are as follows:

• Integration of iCal functionality within DEVONthink - features such as tasks, alarms, multiple calendars, calendar views, etc.
• Change the State function back to what it used to be - Checkboxes.

Printing behavior for a secured pdf with printing disabled is somewhat confusing. I spent a fair amount of time trying to troubleshoot a printing problem because the printer was spitting out blank pages. There was no indication within DTPO that the document couldn’t be printed. I ended up finding out the document was protected by opening it in Adobe Reader, where the title indicated the document was secured and the print menu was disabled.

My request is that similar behavior be adopted for such documents within DTPO.
