Summarize highlights suggestions

Two suggestions:

  1. As it is the summarize highlights document pops up, mysteriously, at the root level of the database. Can’t it be directed either to the inbox or, better yet, to the same file as the document to which it refers? Is there a setting for this I’m missing?
  2. It seems only to work for pdfs. Can it not be made to work for html and rich text documents as well — any document that takes highlights?

It’s working as expected here.
What version are you running?

RTFs are certainly supported.
HTML files are not. Development would have to assess that.

  • If you summarize a document in a main window, the Summary document appears in the current group.
  • If you summarize a document in a document window, the Summary document appears in the root of the database.
  • If you summarize multiple selected documents in the same group, the Summary document appears in the current group.
  • If you summarize multiple selected documents in different locations, e.g., selected in a smart group, the Summary document appears in the root of the database.
