Support for PPTX files?

Hi all,

I’m just trying to get started with DEVONthink. I have the DEVONthink Pro Office Beta 2 and am trying to import Office 2008 powerpoint files (pptx extension).

I get a message saying “Unknown Format” in the log.

My questions:

I noticed that Office 2008 is supposed to be supported. What does that mean if pptx files are not recognized?

Am I doing something wrong?

Is there a workaround or other software that can help?

This means either that DEVONthink couldn’t find an appropriate Spotlight mdimporter plugin for this file or that the plugin didn’t return any data. Restarting the computer might fix this (as long as Office is installed in /Applications and Spotlight is enabled).
