Switching between documents

I have searched, but can’t find an easy answer. I often write a document in DTTG on my iPad, but need to look up research and source documents (contained in databases on DTTG). Switching from them back to the document I am writing is a real pain as I usually end up having to navigate all the way up to the database level and then back into the Global Inbox where the document I am writing is located.

Is there a quick way to do this (to switch back to the previous document - which would be the one I am writing after using search to view a source document)?

The screen size of an iPad is not good to try have two instances side by side. I want to be able to find a document and switch back quickly.

You could e.g. add the document to the favorites.

You can also access the Recently Modified global smart group, sorted by modification date.

Thanks both for the suggestions. I will see how I get on.

I usually open up a second instance of DTTG (either side by side or use windowed then click on it). It’s too cumbersome to go back and forth in same instance I’ve found.
