Sync from WebDAV to new computer

Hi,

I’ve just had to reformat my Mac which had an operational WebDAV sync happening with my NAS.

Post format, setup DT again and setup the sync, thinking that it would pull down all my documents from the WebDAV server.

While it managed to pull down my Inbox, it has not pulled down anything within my document database.

I’m at a loss of what to do. Would appreciate any pointers as to what to do, I’m not finding this process very intuitive.

Well, it was a very unremarkable solution. I was originally trying to sync copy of my DT database from my WebDAV server onto a new blank DT database on my Mac… I thought this could / would work in theory… anyway I couldn’t get it working…

So in the end I just copied a backup of my local database, opened it up in DT and re-synced with the WebDAV version.

This would never work. You can’t sync one database into another, even ones with the same name.
