Sync with CloudKit

I use cloudKit to sync between my devices. However i have deleted some old databases that seem to course some conflicts now. How can I delete the databases also from the cloudkit server?

Welcome @tuebel

In DEVONthink To Go’s Settings > Sync: Locations, tap the sync location, make sure the unwanted database is enabled, then left-swipe it and choose Clean to remove its sync data. Repeat as needed.

Thanks for the reply - however the left swipe doesn’t work - the unabled and unwanted databases are still there…

Sounds like maybe an IOS issue? Try re-starting the device and do that again.

Do you have other devices still syncing the databases to iCloud?
Also, is there a triangle on the sync icon in the bottom toolbar of DEVONthink To Go ?

yes I am using Devonthink on my MacBook and sync it to the iPad - unfortunately it will not sync properly anymore since I have tried with some databases I deleted afterwards - looks like to many databases on the cloud I don’t use and I want to delete - look at the pic please…

Those databases aren’t enabled for syncing.

Do this instead…

  1. In DEVONthink’s Preferences > Sync, select the CloudKit sync location.
  2. In the Remote section of the databases list on the right, Control-click an unwanted database and choose Clean Database.
  3. Repeat step 2 as needed.
