Synchronising new file in existing folder architecture

My (pdf file) database is well organised in a hierarchical folder structure (down to 6 levels) and I keep adding new pdf files into the folder structure, at their expected place.

I wonder if there is a simple way to keep the associated DTO database updated (i.e. including all new files automanically in DTO at their correct place). I am currently going to the painfull process of adding keeping track of the newly added files and importing them manually in DTO.

You could index the folder hierarchy (see File > Index…) and synchronize it afterwards (see File > Synchronize).

It is working fine. Many thanks.
I have already OCR many file in my previously imported library. Is there a possibility to keep them in the new “indexed” library ? or do I have to start from scratch ?

The Synchronize command doesn’t remove imported files like OCRed documents. However, the synchronization is not bidirectional, meaning that the files exist only inside the database, not in the folder hierarchy.
