With large DT databases, it takes forever to synchronize them over broadband. One small change and you have to re-synch all the database segments. There must be a more efficient way to do with internally within DT. I hope something like this can be included into DT. I wonder whether the plug-in architecture for synchronization in Tiger will be a route toward this? (hopefully sooner though!!)

Maria, thanks–but that thread doesn’t solve the problem. An internal synching mechanism is needed given the size of the databases.
Sure, I just wanted to say that others have the same problems and already discussed the request for internal synchronization recently. I really would like to have it as well!
