Syncing from DTPO to DTTG timing out

Hi all

I’m attempting to set up sync from DT Pro Office to DTTG, using Dropbox. I’ve set up a location and both DTPO and DTTG aren’t giving me any errors. I’ve set up for manual sync

However, I’m at the point of uploading the database (on DTPO) to the sync location and it seems to keep timing out.

My process is this:

  1. Go to DTPO > Preferences > Sync.

  2. I find the right sync location and right click on the “Masters” database, right click and select “Synchronise Database”, like this:

  3. The wheel starts spinning, and a dialogue box pops up:

So far so good.

However, after about 5 minutes or so, this dialogue box disappears, and the database has still not fully uploaded. I’ve been repeatedly hitting “Synchronise Database”, and it seems to upload about 30 documents each time.

Would this be a problem with Dropbox? or some other box I haven’t selected/unselected?

Sorry - no understanding. Do you mean hold the option key while in DTPO?

Yes, when you hold the Option key when visiting the Help menu in DEVONthink Pro Office you’ll create an extended bug report.
