My DT database has grown & I have now split it into 4 new databases. Is there a way manually to sync all 4 databases via a single command, or can this only be done by scheduling? It’s a bit of a pain to sync one database, wait for it to finish, sync the next one, wait for it to finish and so on!

Is there a way to place the synchronise all command on the toolbar rather than an icon merely to sync the database you have open at that moment?

Nope - no icon for this. File > Synchronize All can be mapped via System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts.
