When DTP3 steps off from beta to release, what would be the proper way to remove DTP2 from from a machine?

When DTP3 steps off from beta to release, what would be the proper way to remove DTP2 from from a machine?

It’s sufficient to remove the old app but removing the folder ~/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink Pro 2 after migrating will free some disk space.
