I have several databases. The icons in Devonthink 3 are fine in most of them.
However in one of my databases the icons for the groups appear all as the tags icon ??
They are group tags.
This is covered in the built-in Help > Getting Started > Documentation > DEVONthink Simplified, which is also part of the beta testing.
It’s also in the introductory section of the Help here…
Groups aren’t excluded from tagging in this case, see File > Database Properties.
