I apologize for the silly question, but what is the use of the template contained in the WikiLinks section of the preferences?
It’s used to create documents after clicking on automatic Wiki links without a matching destination yet. E.g. in cased of MashedWords and typing DocumentWhichDoesNotYetExist in plain/rich texts such a document will be created after clicking on the link.
BTW: Clicking the ? button in the lower left pane opens the help page for this preferences pane.
