Timing out on local sync

I am able to sync my laptop to my iMac using local network sync. No problem. However, whenever I try to sync my iPad to my iMac using local sync, I get a “timed out” and it stops. Nevertheless, my inbox database will sync with the iPad, just not the main database.

Any suggestions?

Please post screencaps of DEVONthink’s Preferences > Sync with the sync location selected on both machines.

The first image is the iMac settings page for the Bonjour connection. The second is the sync screen for the iPad DT to Go.

The other databases sync fine, so I suspect that the one with the failure to sync has something causing the timeout failure. I have rebuilt the database but that did not help.

On the iPad is Bonjour “off” ? Should be.

Yes. Bonjour is off on the iPad.

Quit and relaunch DEVONthink and DEVONthink To Go, then see if it’s syncing again.

Quit DT on both and restarted both machines. Same timeout issue on syncing.
