I like the feature to create a “Table of Contents” note. The items appear numbered in the new note. Is there a way of automatically inserting a checkbox in addition (or alternatively) to the numbering in front of each line?
This isn’t possible, rich text documents do not support checkboxes.
If you’re trying to mark something as done, perhaps selecting the line and pressing Control-Command-S to use strikethrough could work.
