I came across this great blog entry this morning and thought I would share with other users:

There is a lot of good advice in that article. In particular the emphasis on putting exactly those units of information into DT that you expect to look for later.

This is also a good principle for deciding what to put into DT and what to leave in standard files. I don’t want all my data in DT because then I risk getting too many hits that and drown the useful ones. This is also where I see the problem with universal file search systems such as the one integrated into MacOS. For nearly any search, it produces 90% of the hits in files I don’t care about.

Yeah, I agree wholeheartedly.

Hey, DevonGuys… read that article and incorporate those ideas into the next versions instead of forging strategic alliances with overseas companies.
