# Unable to create a new database

Greetings! I’ve just tried to set up a new database and can’t manage to save it. I just keep receiving the notification “Database couldn’t be created!” if I aim to save if on my Hard drive and saving on the cloud (my desktop) is not even seen as an option. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Databases can’t be located in cloud folders. Does it work in the folder ~/Databases?
