Unable to save notes containing certain characters/symbols?

Occasionally, when writing a note in the sorter, I get a message saying “Couldn’t save your note. It has been saved on your desktop as ‘Sorter Note X.txt’”

This seems to occur when the note contains characters such as “α” or a letter with an umlaut. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

Please start a Support Ticket so we have a record of this issue. I have verified it by typing in some Greek and seeing the error here too.

Yup, me too.

I, who normally complains about problems with umlauts etc, have no problem at all with this. All characters seem to work fine, even ß∂ƒ etc.
