Is it unthinkable that DT4 uses the “descending”, “ascending” settings in “unsorted” mode to determine whether a new document is created at the top or the bottom?
At the moment this does not seem to have any function. Which is a pity … for me

Considering unsorted means no sorting is applied and Ascending/Descending are sort-related terms, it is 100% logical they would have no effect on newly created documents.
