I’m not sure what that means. When importing certain websites (e.g., BTT) into DT 3, I get this message.
What URL are you trying to view?
It means that you should talk to the BetterTouch people. Browser sniffing was bad ten years ago. No self-respecting website should display such a message in 2025.
The issue is probably detected by the script assets/browser-detect.js.
Also of relevance: What version of macOS are you using? DT relies on Apple’s WebKit, which (as of Safari provided with macOS 15.6.1) works just fine with BTT’s forum. How about yours?
Edit The BTT forum displays just fine in my DT4 (as mentioned, on macOS 15.6.1).
I still use Ventura because certain software no longer works on more recent versions. That’s probably a sign that I can’t keep going like this much longer.
Do you have JavaScript enabled? (Settings > Web)
Please be more specific. How? What sites?
And does that URL work with Safari or does it not?
I’m also still running Ventura (13.7.8) and DT3 (3.9.15). I just added https://community.folivora.ai/ as a bookmark in DT – for me it displays fine in the internal browser. Settings:
Edit: Oh, BLUEFROG beat me to it ![]()
Yes, Ventura 13.7.8 may solve the problem (I still have 13.2.1). I will do this update. Thank you all for testing ![]()
You should make sure to stay current with the operating system point releases.
13.7.1 to 13.7.8 is less critical (but still important).
But you shouldn’t let the discrepancy get to a point like 13.2.1 to 13.7.8.
