Is there a way to update a bookmark record’s URL when the bookmarked page redirects?
As you might imagine, a lot of them are broken. Several of the remaining ones redirect to new locations when they load. I want to replace the old URLs with their new ones before the old sites disappear.
Control-click the background of a web page generated from a bookmark in your database and choose either the Capture Page > Bookmark action to create a new bookmark from that page, or the Update Bookmark action to update the URL in the bookmark of the page you’re viewing.
There might be a more sophisticated process to crawl your bookmarks and find and bookmark the destination URLs of the redirects – but that’s not a current (or simple) feature.
