Updated Adobe Acrobat?

I’m a freelance grant writer and I’ve been trying to add federal grant applications to DT. These applications are PDF forms, and I keep getting a message “If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document.” Needless to say, the “proper contents” never show up. Can you tell me what’s wrong and how I fix it? I desperately need a way to keep these grant packages organized.

The PDF engine of Mac OS X (used by many applications including Quick Look, Preview, DEVONthink or DEVONagent) probably doesn’t support this (yet).

The only workarounds are to display these files using Adobe Acrobat (via Data > Open With > …) or to convert them to another, more compatible PDF version (again using Adobe Acrobat).
