What’s going to happen to my XMenu preferences, etc. when I drag 1.8 into my applications folder? I’ve got everything set up just the way I want it–will the upgrade be disruptive?

Version 1.8 is now Universal Binary and will run natively on PPC or Intel Macs.
The update shouldn’t disturb your current setup.
