Upgraded to MacOS Sierra. Cannot Add New Documents

Good Evening!

Just completed an upgrade from El Capitan to MacOS Sierra. Did a clean install. DEVONthink launches fine and I can see files (and even open existing ones). However, I cannot add new Text Documents, and the DB has a funny symbol next to it’s name in Open Databases (it looks like a pencil with a line through it). Additionally, some of the menu items at the top of the DTPO window are grayed out (please see attachments).

Thank you so much for your help!

Kindest regards, :unamused:

Do a Tools > Rebuild Database on it.

It’s a read-only database. Please check the permissions/ownership of the database in the Finder - do you have read/write access?

Thank you SO much Christian & Jim!! Permission issue it was and is now resolved. Hugely helpful…Saved the bacon (so to speak)…

Have an awesome evening.
