Under custom metadata, I’ve created a keywords field for files (e.g. .mp4s, webarchives etc) which don’t have a ‘native’ keywords field.
What sort of field type do I need to use for my user-created keywords to resemble and act like the keywords in a ‘native’ metadata field?

There’s no type for such a field yet, therefore the most similar type is to use a single-line text.

It’s a token field but that’s just a user interface control, not an internal (custom metadata) type.
