Hi there,
I can’t figure out how to hide the bar marked in red in the screenshot below… and because I don’t even know what it’s called, I can’t find the information in the DTP documentation.
Could one of you refresh my memory?
Thanks a lot!

It literally is called the Format Bar and can be toggled via the Format menu or using ⇧⌘F
Huh, a little ashamed I didn’t see it for myself. Thanks a lot for the info!
That’s the whole point of having a forum and sharing You’re welcome
And you likely accidentally pressed Shift-Command-F. This can be used again to dismiss the Format bar.
You are certainly right Jim, suddenly this format bar appeared some time ago “in spite of me”
I occasionally hit the key sequence myself when doing a database search (which is Control-Comand-F)
Actually it’s Alt-Cmd-F
Haha! Indeed. I forgot I had changed it in the Keyboard prefs when testing something.
Time to delete that custom shortcut and retrain.
