Using DEVONthink Pro 2 with FoxTrot Pro

I like to use FoxTrot Pro to search my drives. Rather than relying on Spotlight to create its indices, FTPro creates its own, which allows one to create specific areas for it to search.

I’ve set it up so the DtPro Spotlight indices located in ~/Library/Caches/Metadata/DEVONthinkpro are a specific source for FoxTrot to index. Would this still be true for DtPro v.2?
(Hope I’ve been clear about this.)

I suppose when I’ve made the final move to v2, I’ll be able to delete the v.1 metadata cache. Would that be right?
