I set my database to turn on Versioning.
I configured it in Settings to allow for 50 versions and never remove any versions.
When I edit a .docx file using “Open with” Word and then save my changes, I do not see a new version in the Versions inspector.
What else am I missing?
External editing isn’t supported, actually we discussed this already in the beta boards

You might want to clarify this in the Help - it does not say that versioning only applies to internal documents. When I first read it I thought the reference to “Another document or application” meant when using an external editor. But I guess it actually just refers to switching from DT4 to a totally different application.
