We need Unsorted capabilities on DTTG, and here's why

You’re not at all alone here. I don’t really want to get into the details of x and y and what is or is not possible. I have been querying about this ability every so often to DT support for years (I’ve used DT for quite a long time) and every forum post I see about this topic gets +1 responses.

With the recent news about DT4, I’ve posted something here, and hope for positive news:

DT4 - Devonthink 4 version?

I hope/wonder if DT4 will include the ability to sort files within a database by hand (under ‘Unsorted’ setting) and have this order sync to another device? This is a desperately needed feature for me, and I know for a good number of others too. I understand that there are many different preferences in how people like to order their files, as well as workarounds (e.g. starting file names with numbers, etc) and that might suit some people well.
