I think this feature would be a good improvement.
I have my own feature I would have loved to have seen in DT4 (column view presets) but I don’t think it’s quite high enough on the list to show up any time soon.
Everyone’s got their own way of asking for what they want but strategically I would not have chosen to demean other features like you did in a similar thread:
especially if you have just experienced the total tsunami of posts about AI over the last few weeks. For an astounding amount of people AI is not “fancy stuff”.
It’s good to hear that the devs are working on syncing manual sort order across devices, and I’d love to hear that column view presets are in the pipeline but there is very strong evidence that the Devs would have needed a soundproof room to block out the clamouring for AI integration.
