Then why come to a forum site in the first place?
It can’t be the case that everyone comes to ask questions, for there would be no one left to answer the questions. All answers, posts and comments are as personal as they are public.
Not to mention that the title of this very thread is a declaration of a personal idea.
What else but personal ideas do you expect in a forum?

I’m genuinely pleased that web archives are working for you.
My point is really that when the word “archive” is used it has an established meaning, but in this context it’s different. I found out the hard way that some of my “archives” weren’t what I thought. So now I use PDFs of any web pages when I want to guarantee to reference the contents in the future, in case the pages have disappeared or I’m offline.
