Webarchive changing - by desgin?

Clipping the following URL with “Cip to DEVONthink” as Webarchive:

macdrifter.com/2016/01/getti … -2016.html

Opening the entry in DT and using the displayed webpage to search something different on Gabe’s Website:

The Webarchive changes to the Search query. No undo.

Is that to be expected? Feels annoying to me …

Web archives can be both updated and edited. To avoid this, you could either use bookmarks or open them in separate windows so that the changes aren’t automatically saved.
