What does "not text" in log following indexing

Just indexed a folder. In the log displayed afterward several files have “no text” in the “info” column of the log.

The files are all pdf. I’m guessing this means they are not searchable. Is that right?

Yes.

“No text” PDFs are PDFs without text layers. Usually, because they are merely images, or because they haven’t (yet) been OCRd. Or both.
