What does this icon mean and how can I export selected pdf pages?

Hi,

I have a few questions about pdf editing in DTTG.
First, what does this icon of many pages with plus sign below it mean? IMG_2267 I didn’t think I would have to ask something like this here, but the manual explains only the ions before this one. I tried playing with it a little bit and it seems to process something but no observable results (to me).

Second, how do I export only some selected pages from a pdf file? It seems that I can select multiple pages and paste them into clipboard, but I can’t find connection between those selected pages and the export or share feature.

The functionality behind this icon is not (yet) implemented we’re afraid. There’s also not (yet) any export functionality that lets you select, then create a new PDF from them.

The button for exporting selected PDF pages will work in the next maintenance release of DEVONthink To Go. Also, you can already now open the document editing mode, select pages, and drag them out to the item list or other apps. We plan to improve this further in a later release.
