What Group Is It In?

After conducting a search and identifying an item, I don’t see how to learn in which group that item resides.

There are at least 2 options, perhaps even more that I am not aware of. You can select the document and right-click, select Reveal (command-r works as the shortcut). Or you can bring up the Info panel and look in the Instances pop-up. Even if there are no replicants or duplicates, the Instances pop-up will display the document’s location.
