# What is the best to set up DEVONthink so that my research assistant and I can access the same database?

I want to enable my research assistant to be able to add, edit and markup material on my Devon think databases, using her computer - what is the easiest way

Set up a Sync store on iCloud or a Synology NAS drive with WebDAV or Dropbox - then install DT3 on each computer and sync to the same sync store.

AFAIK, iCloud (and perhaps Dropbox, too?) requires the _same_ AppleID for every one syncing with it. So one would either have to set up a new, dummy one that both people share or use another sync method.
